MAN CHESTS OR COUPLES?
I love all my covers for The Marriage Diaries, and they were pretty easy to
design because the main couple of the series is married. The same couple is on every cover, but in a
different pose and it just works for the set of books. But now I’m getting ready to start a new
spin-off series to The Marriage Diaries called THE PLAYERS CLUB, and I have to
rethink a new look and cover concept for this brand new series.
I really do love having “couples” on a cover. I think it gives the reader a good feel for
the characters and sets the tone of the book/story inside. I especially like covers of a couple in a
sexy or erotic embrace. But THE PLAYERS
CLUB is going to be a hero focused/driven series, and I was wondering if I
should change things up and go with a hero-only cover. Like those hot, sexy “man chest” type covers
that are swoon worthy. I really can’t
decide!
What is your personal preference when it comes to covers? Do you like seeing a couple on the cover, or
does a hot hunk catch your attention?
