This is the prequel of Wicked Destiny, and Stevens’ second book. And I’m glad I picked this up. It was written so much better than the first book and I absolutely loved how it was paced. It was a big improvement from the first book. I’m so glad I gave this a chance.

This novella is an easy one sitting read and is focused on Declan’s side of the story. It’s story was a lot lighter with descriptions and details flowing a lot more breezer than the first book. This only keeps the reader reading and is an awesome installment to the series.
