Bout of Books 5.0 : Day 4

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

Second day has rolled in and here are some updates! Oh, and since I'm going to posting up reviews after I read them. I'll have separate posts for updates.

THE GOALS

  1. Start and finish:
    • Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
    • Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James
    • Fifty Shades Darker by E. L. James
      • I know... don't judge me for my choice of "last two" books. Curiosity killed the cat or me.
  2. Make new bookish blogger friends!
  3. Finish another book if I finish all 3 before the 19th
  4. Read Novellas
    • Beyond the Hidden Gates by Debbie Peterson
    • Coming Together by Naya Nikki
    • Forever Yours by Shilpa Mudiganti
    • Lies and other disasters like love by Cecilia Robert
    • Charlotte's Wedding by Brooke Moss
    • Movement by Nancy Fulda
    • The Benson by Karina Halle

The Candy Challenge @ BookSmartie

What do I eat or snack on while reading? Well, I usually don't do it since, I'm so engrossed in books I don't really notice that I'm hungry (Weird, I know). But when I'm do, I usually have a box of orange juice and a bag of Crunchy Paprika Chips. They're yum yum yum!

A Book for Every Season @ Reading in Winter
"Name the perfect book for each season of the year! The book can either have the name of the season in the title, or — and this is the preferred way! — the book can take place in that specific season."

SPRING

Want by Stephanie Lawton. This is the perfect spring read since it has the awesomest spring event ever!  (if I'm right) Mardi Gras! :D

SUMMER

Amplified by Tara Kelly. It's hot, the main character just graduated from highschool and has been kicked out of her own house by her dad because she wants to take a break before starting up university. With this book, I couldn't help but feel the heat, even if it sometimes wasn't there. I felt like I was reading a wonderful Summer read.

FALL

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter. for some odd reason, throughout this book. I felt like that whole story took place in October. I guess it's because of the cover and how dark and gloomy the book felt.
WINTER

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer Smith. This book made me want to curl up under my covers and read the whole day through. It was a cute and sweet winter read.
