Title: Queen of the Dead (Ghost & The Goth #2)
Author: Stacey Kade
Started: 14/1/12
Finished: 16/1/12
Medium: Hardbound
Genre: Young Adult: Paranormal Romance
Buy:  Amazon / Barnes & Noble / The Book Depository

I started this very excited but as I read further. I didn't feel that excitement anymore. It wasn't what I expected, though the book was still good but not as good as the first book.

Will meets new people, who might have a link to his father and tries to find out more and in the process of this his link with Alona weakens. Alona, became desperate at some point in the book and she started doing impulsive and foolish things which annoyed me and can totally be avoided but no. She had to do something stupid.

Will established new found enemies and this made the installment more intriguing than the first. I think I might have enjoyed the first book more because it was more on the romance while this one has more of plot. Haha.

Ghost & the Goth series is definitely growing and this installment articulates and clarifies that this series has more of a plot and depth, while the first book was pretty weak in it. I'm sure those readers who said the first book was plotless will get a better taste with Ghost and The Goth #2 than me.

Shadow of the Witte Wieven
by Debbie Peterson

Synopsis:
Despite a contract on her head, lone Drug Enforcement Agent, Aliyana Montijo must ferret out a mole and stop the assassination of top DEA officials, as so ordered by the Colombian drug lord she seeks to take down. Former seventeenth century captain of the Dutch West Indies Company, Wolfaert Dircksen Van Ness, now from a parallel dimension, encounters the beautiful agent during an unearthly storm in the Bermuda triangle. Drawn to the Spanish beauty he rescues, he pledges his assistance, despite her reluctance to accept either his help or his heart.
